All kinds of things happening in the kitchen this week, starting off with Chocolate Chip Scones on Sunday morning.
Always a favorite over here is Chicken Piccata Pasta Toss from Rachael Ray.
I just made up a recipe for shrimp fajitas, which were pretty good, but I’ve got some notes on how to improve them next time (buy cleaned and deveined shrimp and add jalapenos to the pepper mix).
My neighbor Minki sent down a delicious plate of chicken topped with pesto and hot pepper. It was delish.
And another batch of banana bread. One topped with chocolate chips. That one was gone the first day.
It was nice to have on hand when a friend stopped by for tea and a chat. It was so nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.Linking up with Heather at Beauty that Moves. Pop on over there to get all kinds of kitchen inspiration.
Oh those tri-colored peppers… gorgeous!
I always want to take a picture of peppers! They are beautiful!
This looks so good! I must put eating outside on our agenda again! It’s time (:
Thanks! Eating outside is so nice this time of year (before it gets too hot).
Love the outdoor space. Looks so comfortable. Your food this week looks delicious! 🙂
Nice to see we are not the only ones who eat bread quickly. LOL. Your outdoor space is lovely and I hope you have many more happy times out there.
blessings, jill
Everything looks wonderful and there is nothing better than being able to sit and eat outside. Your patio area looks so inviting!
Everything looks so beautiful…especially those peppers. And one can never have too much banana bread…at least, according to my son and me.
Love the photo with the peppers… beautiful colors! The chicken does look really good, you are right. And the scones, and the bread, and the pasta. Thanks for sharing this week.
Eating outside is also a must for my family, it’s one of the joy of country living! Your banana bread looks so good, I tryed banana cupcakes but never banana bread. It could be delicious with a cup of tea in the afternoon! Happy weekend from Italy!
